Why we need an Email Consumer Protection Act
We need an 'Email Consumer Protection Act' like the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Email lists should require affirmative opt-in, not just an opt-out. CAN-SPAM's current policy burdens recipients. It's frustrating to manually unsubscribe from emails you never agreed to receive.
